The Community Violence Response Team practiced staff wellness by supporting each other in training and completing the Twin Lights Half Marathon in Gloucester on May 5th.  Self-care is extremely important in doing the work they do, and it is important to build in a variety wellness activities every day. “Running gives me time to clear my mind while I am doing something good for my body and my health,” said Lisa Allee, Injury Prevention Coordinator.  Training for this half marathon together provided them with both team building and wellness opportunities.  Jen (right) and Lisa (middle) finished in record times and Kara (left) completed her first half marathon!  The Community Violence Response Team provides free counseling to victims of violence and their families.
